THEATRICALITY
AND ITS INTERSECTION
WITH VISUAL ARTS

Theatricality and its Intersection with Visual Arts is an essay that explores the evolving concept of theatricality — examining its roots on the stage and its expanding relevance in everyday life.

My design approach for the cover and the contents was to create a playful visual structure that contrasts with the more academic tone of the text, highlighting the intersection of form and meaning throughout the book.

With the use of geometric patterns and primary colours, each chapter becomes its own “stage”, as they evoke the illusion of theatrical lighting and set design.
